Precise Flow Measurement in a Compact Format
High precision: The flow meters enable high-precision measurement of volume flow rates.
- Compact: The compact design is specifically tailored for integrated solutions and applications with limited installation space.
- Digital pulse signals: The sensors provide reliable, digital pulse signals that ensure accurate flow measurement.
Functionality and Signal Evaluation of the Pulse Output
- Mechanics: The principle of flow measurement is based on mechanical elements such as a turbine or gear, whose movement is generated by the flowing medium.
- Conversion: This mechanical rotation is converted into electrical pulses, with a direct proportionality between the pulse frequency and the flow rate.
- Integration: Thanks to this simple digital signal, the sensors can be easily integrated into programmable logic controllers (PLCs), meters and data loggers.
Technical Characteristics of Flow Meters with Pulse Output
Low Pulse Resolution
The flow meters are characterised by a particularly low pulse resolution, which enables very high measurement resolution and precise detection of even the smallest volumes. Thanks to the high number of pulses per unit of volume, the system reacts quickly to changes in flow and always provides the downstream evaluation system with an accurate and reliable measurement result.
Factory Calibration
The flow meters are supplied factory-calibrated, meaning they are ready for operation immediately after installation without the need for additional adjustment. This saves time and costs during commissioning and ensures that measurement accuracy meets the specified requirements from the very first use.
Interfaces
The flow meters are available with various connection types to ensure flexible integration into different piping systems.
- BSP (G)
- NPT
- AN / JIC
